guide for Strix hardware mods

So I saw on the RX 480 Strix that there are 6 hardware points on the PCB that can be used for overclocking. 3 of them appear to be read points and are pretty self explanatory for how to use them, the other 3 seem to be adjustment points for setting voltage through the hardware (aka, hardmodding). See image here: 58588

So how exactly do I go about using these voltage adjustment points once I get the card? Do I solder a potentiometer between the point and ground? Or something else? What value should the potentiometers be for these mods? And when I boot the card after having soldered on the controls, I should start with the potentiometer turned all the way to the highest resistance first and work my way down from there? Or start at the lowest resistance and work my way up?
