so..yeah.. my title says it all...

if there is.. why? and since the clock settings are so different, how would I correctly do so...

let's say, on a R9 280x dcuII oc

thanks

There are no dumb questions here at ROG kshafe777. First, I must ask you, are you having issues in 2D mode? I been reading that there are a lot of people getting flickering with the R9 series graphics cards while watching videos like you tube and such.

the only problems I have had with the card ( that's ive noticed ) is while playing games.. frame rates are all over the place... and not where they should be... I will admit, i don't use this machine for anything except gaming

13.9 right now.. 13.11 didn't seem to fix it, neither did 13.12... course.. 13.9 isn't any different.. lol

I don't own any AMD cards but I read up on them and read user reviews. I don't know if you know HiVizMan here or not but, he is an AMD guy. I see him recommending the 13.11 driver.

If frame rates are all over the place you could try capping the frame rates to your monitors refresh rate.

that's an interesting thought... the main prob... is not just that they are all over tho.. they are consistently under 20 fps.. not good.. my 650 ti outperforms it... as does my 5870 and 7950

You could try updating the BIOS on your 280x if you are familiar with that.
