The ARES II already comes with an extreme hybrid air and watercooling system, featuring a closed, dual pump loop complete with its own dedicated 120mm radiator. For most user’s, this would be more than enough, but not all. SF3D OC has stripped down his ARES II card, removed the waterloop and added his own custom setup, using a pair of EK Supremacy core-only block and compression fittings. The end result? A half naked and beautiful card (but don’t forget to cool the PLX chip and VRMs!)
It is nice, but without cooling the VRMs... - my personal experience is that you can get higher and more stable OCs with a properly cooled VRMs...
Unfortunately, there is no fullcover block for this card (either), block manufacturer's are saying that it was produced in a very limited amount, so perhaps, it isn't worth for them... but, if they could make separate small blocks just for the VRMs, in addition to those GPU blocks, it would be nice...
