Compability issue ?

Good evening.
I have this graphic card ASUS HD7850-DC2-2GD5-V2 connected through HDMI with an LG DM2752D monitor. The problem is i cant put my monitor to sleep when the time limit passes it goes off and on continuesly.Sometimes also randomly screen goes black for 2 secs and then on its like loosing signal or something. My previous motherboard was an ASUS Formula Special Edition i really thought it was the motherboard cause i had it for like 6 years so i bought an ASROCK Z77 Fatal1ty Performance and it keeps doing it.I took my brothers monitor a PHILIPS 247E3LPHSU and it stopped.I putted my monitor to my brothers pc (he got a ASUS HD6670-2GD3 video card) and everything was working perfect. So i know its not the monitor or my video card.Any ideas?

Thank you.

What driver are you on? I know the 12.11 beta's (and thus the 13.1 WHQL) would do that for me. If the PC went to sleep it would never wake back up....

Does anything come up on the screen when it does? Or does it power flicker quick? Do you have any of the bloatware installed like AI Suite?

Nope nothing.Im using an ASRock fatality performance motherboard right now but this was happening with my Asus Maximus formula too btw my psu is a PPC 750w Silencer think its more than capable to hold a 7850 card.

I have the same issue with that monitor. I have to physically power it down.

Nope I only have the will not power down thing.

I think that the black power flicker is either a driver issue or your cable is not perfectly connected to the monitor or VGA. Or even a cable that is faulty. Some of the cables I tested had a live pinout that should have been floating. This can cause a monitor to think it is on even when no signal is being sent. So borrow a mates and see what happens.

Did not fix my screen however.

Like the monitor but it was a pain in the butt this issue. Ended up sticking it in the office upstairs for use with the wife's laptop. The minute I changed monitor no more problem.

The funny thing is when i plug it on my brothers pc it works perfect.Changed 2 cables so far one 1.4 and one 1.4a The 1.4a though got a fat connector and hits on case slot.

So I guess that leaves you with the pain of driver issue to manage.
