Burned videocard???

When i boot up i get this red lines on the screen... then when i enter windows it just goes black... I already checked everything and i think that my videocard is the problem. my video is an ASUS HD7950... i used a spare card and everything works well... what should I do... Pls help...

Can you enter BIOS, even with the red line?

To recap. You have a red line while in BIOS but your screen does not display anything in OS.

At what point do you stop getting video? What I am trying to work out is if your OS is the problem. However with a red line like you have described I would RMA the video card.

i lose video when i enter desktop... then it goes BSOD.. i can enter in safe mode but the display still has the se weird lines...

i think the gpu is the problem
is it still in warranty?

I bought the cardseptember of last year. i guess it's still in warranty.. can updating the bios be helpful...?

i don't think so updating bios will be help full
then also give it a try
if this doesn't work then
i think so your gpu is the problem
because i have the same problem with my old gpu
your gpu must be damaged by either overheating or mishandling
better you give it to the company for repairing

this sucks... i had problems with the card overheating earlier must be the cause... the cooler is so damn heavy that it sags at the back... well back to the factory... hope they could fix these... took me months to buy these.... 😞
