I am reinstalling Win11 Pro onto a:
Asus X870P Wifi
Ryzan 7700X
Asus TUF nvidia RTX5070 12Gb
Samsung 990 PRO 1Tb
I have got the drivers on a USB stick.
Win11 Pro is installed and I installed the nVidia drivers from the Asus site which was fine.
I have not connected the pc to the Internet.
I have disabled Win11 from updating drivers automatically.
Which order should I install the drivers?
I presume chipset first.
1) Which Asus chipset drivers? There are two types : - AMD NPU driver 32.0.203.242 for Windows 11 64-bit.
- AMD Chipset Driver v7.01.08.129 for Windows10, Windows11 64-bit.
- AMD Chipset Driver V6.10.22.027 for Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 64-bit.(WHQL)
- AMD Chipset Driver V6.06.11.2153 for Windows Win10 64bit& Win11 64-bit---(WHQL)
- AMD NPU driver V10.1109.8.128 for Windows 10 64-bit& Win11 64-bit.(WHQL)
I shan't install the VGA driver because it caused a BSOD earlier:
AMD VGA driver V32.0.13036.4 for Win10 64bit/Win11 64-bit.
2) Which USB drivers from the Asus site? There are many for the X870p.
3) Same question for the SATA drivers.
4) Same for the WIFI drivers.
I create system restore points after every change.
I have disabled Windows update from automatically updating the hardware compoments.
Any ideas would be greatly appriicated.
