I just noticed in MyAsus there is a new BIOS release for the X870E E-Gaming.
...So, uhhh, who is going first??

I have struggled to gain a stable system with 0606 that I am weary to upgrade to 0706. 🤕
EDIT: I am gaining confidence that I am stable on 0606.

Has anyone tried it yet? I just did a new build last week and someone told me the current BIOS (0606) at the time had an issue with booting Windows after enabling EXPO, so I've held off upgrading and my Strix X870E-E is still sat all the way back on 0223.
I'm hoping when I do update it also fixes an issue I'm having with USB stability. All USB ports seem to drastically fluctuate in transport speeds from 800MBps~ down to 0 and then briefly disconnect drives for split seconds before remounting them.

I just built a new system with 9800X3d and flashed 0606, two weeks ago or so. No issues with EXPO or booting so far...🤞
I am also curious if I should update to 0706. Maybe wait for few more people to test and see if there are any complaints.

I am using a 7800X3D and had to flash 0606 twice to make sure the BIOS flashed properly. After the second attempt things did start to stabilize for boots, restarts, and no BSODs. Now I am using EXPO2 with no issues with 5600cl28.
I am going to enjoy the stability I worked hard for with 0606. It has taken me two weeks to get to this point... Thank you to those brave ones trying 0706, I hope we can get you folks back to a steady system. 🤞

Ah that's interesting you've got EXPO working on 0606.
Currently due to what I've been told I'm just not running EXPO at all, but I'm wondering if I should try and see what happens.
If I do and it doesn't work, will I still be able to access BIOS and I can then just turn EXPO off again?

Yes. If you enable EXPO, the motherboard will try and train memory, give it a minute, it may appear that it doesn't post, just wait a couple of minutes. If it reboots, it will then tell you it Posted in safe mode, if that happens it means it wasn't able to apply the EXPO and post. At that point you can revert the setting.
Even if it fails to post completely, just reset CMOS and it will go back to factory defaults.

Yes you can enable it and see what happens, if it fails then clear cmos. But I've had no issues at all with EXPO on 0606.
