X870E STRIX E-Gaming - BIOS 0706

I just noticed in MyAsus there is a new BIOS release for the X870E E-Gaming.
...So, uhhh, who is going first??

I have been checking the issues people are having while I am seemingly all good now on 0706 (other than that ****** X8, though hopefully the 5090 makes that a non issue) and it seems the only difference with my config is that the timings for the ram are on manual (XMP profile is still on auto though as I get similar issues if I set it to anything else) and I have disabled fast boot, as when I was first looking into manual ram timings, most of the guides said to disable it. 

I know its not much but you know how it is 9/10 with a PC, its near always a simple thing that causes the problems, not that the ram timings is simple but there are plenty of guides if you know your ram type, but disabling the fast boot could be the difference for some.

I'd still recommend an X670E board over these X870E ones right now, as they have ironed out most of their issues and most seem to have USB4. Not much use to those who already have one but maybe it will be a help to those looking at the forums to see how these boards are doing before making their mind up.

Edit, lol seems those beaver homes and large man made water blocking constructions is a banned word 😄

So 0706 with AI optimizer then frequency Manualy set to 6000 (And no other change) is working for me.
Maybe it's some issue on the others changes that expo profile do.
1317(0604) to 1285(0706) on cinebench so less perf
Asus software are something else ahahah.

It could be, but that is why i have reported it to them. If it works flawlessly on 0606 and all of a sudden doesn't work on 0706, clearly there is something in that bios version that makes it not post when EXPO is enabled. Telling me to switch my ram or cpu is just a bs response and Asus should be ashamed.

I need to test the timming and others stuffs one by one, but I'm a bit tired of there sh*t bios right now, expectedly with a 600+ euros motherboard ^^. I needed to do this two time because the first try bios crashed ahahah.
Hope at least people can try this and that work for them too.

Anyone here can share pictures of your build with the 870 Strix motherboard?  I really don't like the M.2 slots stack with one another causing me the lower GPU slot.

  I have a Lian Li compact case with the 870 Strix motherboard and my 3090 Strix sits really low.  I am so worried if I get a 5090 that the GPU will not fit.  lol

I wouldn't even say another brand, I'd say go X670E instead, cheaper and more polished bios with pretty much the same features if you shop around (X870E just guarantees that USB 4) plus more user reviews to get a better idea of what you are getting.

lol I keep saying I will just swap back to my X670E-F, but work and the seasonal plagues going around have left me not really having the time or energy to do it.

Tried the 0706 today on an Asus X870E Hero and also had the issue with EXPO 1 - but with EXPO 2 Profile (this changed some voltage settings) it works at least with the setting DDR5-5800 on a G.SKILL F5-6000J3238G32G Trident Z5 RAM (2x32GB), the Core Tuning configuration is set to Level 1 - will still try if i can get DDR5-6000, maybe ASUS has some bugs on some AUTO settings in the new UEFI version and needs more manual settings (?)....

Worst issue is the support who tall to some people, bios was fine and that was CPU or motherboard being faulty (Which means nobody at Asus will resolve this problem).
I don't know how they still can be so incompetent even after all the bad publicity.
