X870e STRIX-E E Gaming "Power Down Mode" not enabling

Hi,

Using a new X870e Strix-E E Gaming with 9800x3d on latest BIOS 0606.

I am attempting to enable power down mode as I have a mismatch for tPHYRDL and sometimes this can help match it.

However, searching in the BIOS, there are 3 power down drop downs. Even with all 3 enabled, Zen Timings suggests it's still "disabled".

Is anyone able to reproduce this?

Seems like procodt is also bugged. Ryzen master is showing incorrect ohm compared to what was saved in BIOS

Hi,

Reset your BIOS then try by not using the BIOS search engine and by enabling it only in the DRAM Timing Control menu from your AI Tweaker tab :

AI Tweaker tab > DRAM Timing Control :

Power Down Enable : Enabled
Memory Context Restore : Enabled (enabling MCR will enable automatically Power Down Enable)

I have enabled PDM and MCR via DRAM timing control off the back off a CMOS reset as a test.
Made sure to not use search or change any other setting outside of those 2.

Unfortunately both ZT and RM show PDM is still disabled:

Io uso una Strix X870-A con bios 0606. Abilitando il MCR non si ablita più in automatico il Power Down Mode. Mi confermate che entrambi devono essere impostati su ENABLED?

Yes, MCR & PD must be enabled together :

AI Tweaker tab > DRAM Timing Control :

Power Down Enable : Enabled
Memory Context Restore : Enabled
