Hi.
The audio drivers package on the motherboard page is flawed and doesn't even work correctly:
1. The "Realtek Audio Control" application doesn't install itself and it is not possible (by conventional means) to install it.
2. If headphones are connected to the rear jack, audio will be heavily distorted after a single sleep/wake cycle - this is due to "Amplify Level" setting resetting itself to whatever the maximum value is - which is clearly an error since my headphones impedance spec is 45ohms.
Can you guys please fix your ******? The mobo costs more than 9800x3d.

Hi...
Please try the drivers from this link:
you require the driver called Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG RTK-Dolby)..

Hey.
Thank you for the suggestion.
MoKiChU driver was the first thing I've tried - it has the same symptoms.

Hi...
Probably best to file a bug report to Asus....
Hopefully they can reproduce and fix this....

Decided to see if I can repro it on another set of X870E HERO and 9700x - yeah, same thing. The board (software is part of the package, remember) wasn't ready for release, as simple as that.
