X870E Extreme CPU Clock / Strange Utilization

Hi,

I’m having a strange issue with my new setup:

  • CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X3D (delidded, custom loop)

  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro (latest updates)

The problem:

  • Windows Task Manager shows strange CPU usage

  • At the same time, it reports an impossible frequency like ~12.4 billion GHz.

  • System is 100% stable (no WHEA, no crashes).

What I tried:

  • BIOS is updated to the latest version.
  • AMD chipset drivers are up to date.
  • Windows 11 fully updated.
  • BIOS settings are mostly stock (only RAM set to DOCP 6400).

Has anyone else seen this bug on Ryzen 9000X3D or ASUS X870E boards? Could it be a Task Manager reporting issue? Any workaround until Microsoft/AMD/ASUS fix it?
