I am trying to find a solution to this NOPKEY error.
Asus customer service has confirmed that the X870E-E Gaming is compatible with Sonic Studio 3. Has anyone come across this before?

i just saw this is going on. My audio sounded a little uncompressed. i was using its noise gate for my mic. ive now uninstalled and reinstalled all of armory crate and then brought back all of its updates. still getting this NOPKEY error. my sound drivers are all up to date and work on everything. Sonic Studios emblem is also not in my Armory Crate as an easy access but when Its opened through window search.. I get the same message as you. 1/4/25

Hi,
This is incorrect, your motherboard is not an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC40xx codec, so you can't install/use Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS).
You have an ASUS ROG Realtek|Dolby Atmos motherboard with ALC40xx codec, so :
You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG RTK-Dolby) from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Realtek USB Audio (AMD 5xx/6xx/8xx & Intel 5xx/6xx/7xx/8xx).
Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Thank you for taking the time for such a detailed reply.
To clarify, Sonic Studio 3 will only work with a S33-DTS motherboard?

Correct, and SS3 being EoL, there is no more SS3 since the refreshed ASUS ROG motherboards with ALC40xx codec with Intel Z790 chipset for the Raptor Lake Refresh CPU launch, or newer motherboards.

With your drivers, will it allow my motherboard work with Sonic Studio 3?
I wish to use the front panel 3.5mm output for the 32/384 and to use an equalizer to control it.
I feel there should be a program prepared for the motherboards with this new audio solution.
