I have been experiencing a lot of crashes and BSOD with this mobo.
I have used Trident Neo F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR (on the QVL list), using the newest BIOS (0606), and the minimal settings (EXPO 2, no overclock, no extra features enabled).
I have crashed in the middle of gaming, or right after being done... POOF. I am prepared to return this mobo...
I am using a 7800X3D, which is socketed fine. My GPU is new and socketed fine. The RAM is new and socketed fine. HELP!!

What things have you tried .eg
Temps ok?
Clear BIOS Press CMOS button, re-flashed BIOS.
Try ram setting on auto instead of EXPO II or try EXPO I.
Run memtest86
Do you have Armoury Crate, Aura Creator installed?
I even had friend with a monitor causing BSOD's didn't like his new GPU.

Hey!
I have flashed the latest BIOS, twice. Windows installed twice. I turned off Asus app installer within the BIOS I did not install apps from Armoury Crate. I downloaded the files from the web page and installed them from there. Now, no crashes or BSOD.
BUT
Sometimes when I restart my computer, I am getting a couple error codes that I cannot define: Od and 10. They are both memory related... To satisfy baseline requirements for the 7800X3D, I am now running 5600cl28 on EXPO 2, no overclock on the CPU or pushing any voltages or features, not even PBO.
Although my operating system stability has improved, the restart hang-ups still cause worry... I am kinda at a loss. I am looking over at my X570/5800X3D and wondering what I have done to myself! LOL

Hey, so the reboot issue sounds a lot like a recent problem related to monitoring software causing codes like those if you used them in the last session before reboot.
In the BIOS there is a recently added setting "Monitoring Software reboot Workaround" (use search in bios to find it) to attempt to fix this for folks. Set to enabled and see if that helps you.
Seeing as loads of random vendor software for common enthusiast hardware (icue, nzxt, l-connect etc etc; different overlays and all sorts of things including hidden background services) as well as obvious candidates like hwinfo can trigger this, its worth a go. The 0d code especially is indicative of it AND that it appears on restarts. So I have a very strong suspicion this might be it...
Definitely worth trying in case this is your issue. There are many reports of this solving 0d, including a few on x870e.
As for the memory not reaching higher clock speeds -- well, obviously that could be many things. But I'd mildly suspect the RAM itself a little more (and I mean a little). Dont change too many things at once, and only try this after you've verified if the above fixes your reboot issues or not: but I'd probably try them on 1.4v to see if that gets them stable at whatever the 6000 profile is. Assuming the expo profiles are 1.35v? Need more details on the profile options.

My list of choices were, in order:
The features of each board ticked every box, but the E was cheapest. I have only used MSI motherboards for years. The BIOS was/is terrible, but they have a new one for some new boards and I was keen to try it. Anyways, this E board is working out (mostly).
I am a bit disappointed in the design of the audio layout. I only have a native equalizer with the optical audio at 24/192, the highest audio output is the front panel (weird, kind of understandable), and there is no equalizer for 3.5mm outputs that fully utilizes the 32/384 range (very weird)... Sonic Studio 3 seems like an abandoned product. Some may think I am being nitpicky, because I am. Armoury Crate is actually pretty good. I wish I could use iCue with the board.

I bought the x870e Hero at the end. Crazy price but it seems to be a good one.

A similar case here 😞 https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/amd-800-series/x870e-e-and-expo-profiles/td-p/1061334
