On the new bios 1715, overclocking through fixed voltage stopped working, even at 1v and a frequency of 4.5, the aida fpu test showed 140+ w and the temperature was 97+ degrees. On the old bios 1701, this problem did not occur. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I am on an x870-E extreme using the OC switcher and my static is working fine on 1715. I shift from PBO to static under heavy load then back to PBO light load... it still works for me. are you using the AMD Overclocking from the advanced menu or are you using the ASUS options in extreme tweaker?

I'm just using the advanced mode in the BIOS. Previously, I set the voltage to 1.16 v and the frequency to 5300 for all cores. The aida fpu test consumed a maximum of 135 watts, but with the new BIOS, even at 1v and 4500, it consumed 140 watts+. In both cases, the LLC was 8.

If you haven't fixed it yet it might be that asus broke something in the advanced/ AMD OC tab. You could try setting all of that back to auto and try to do your manual under extreme tweaker. that is the way mine is working, I should have stated that before.
