Hi all,

The latest BIOS 0706 added a new feature "Core tunings configuration for gaming" 🤔

I haven't managed to test yet. Has anyone else tested what it does already?

Asus, maybe eludicate?

I just saw the new BIOS Update. I am on 0606 still. I wonder if I should update...have you noticed anything else? Is it stable, all else working as intended?

I wish that Asus provides better descriptions with these updates. We are just left guessing 90% of the time wth was updated.

No issues for me at least.

Will do some gaming in the evening but so far everything runs smoothly.

I updated to 0706 last night.   Did a BIOS clear and the only thing I set was ram to EXPO1.  I'm runnning a Ryzen 9 7950X3D with Corsair DOMINATOR TITANIUM RGB 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 DRAM 6000MT/s CL30.  They are on the Asus supported list.

Other than the slow boots due to the memory training I've had no issues.  Ran OCCT for an hour, ran TestMem5, all good.  Did some reading on the web, watched a few videos, played Robocop Rogue City about 2 hours.  No issues.  We'll see...

Had the same issue with slow boot after login screen when to black screen for about 40 seconds before desktop appeared, reboot a few times but did not change.

How long does memory training take?

Have you enabled Memory Context Restore (MCR)?  I had really slow boot times we well.  Someone suggested pressing F9 in the bios, search "context" and enable what appears.  The X870E E-Gaming has it in two places.

I went from 40 seconds to 15 with that change.

Tried that but did not work.  Boots fast to the login screen, its only booting slow once you login to Windows.  Black screen with egg timer only showing.  After its logged in everything is normal (so far).

Just updated and now when I enable expo 1 the system would not post. It posts in safe mode. It worked fine with 0606. ****** it.

I also updated last night and any time I set any EXPO (1, 2, or 2 Tweaked) the system will not post and reboots into safe mode.  I also attempted to set everything manually and had the same issue.  Attempted to go back to 0606 and ran into issues.  Stuck at work for a bit but going to mess with it more later - overall I'd say do not update yet.

I am attempting to go back to 0606 now, what a mess...

What issues did you have going back to 0606?
