I built a new machine with the rog strix X870e e gaming wifi with Ryzen 9800X3D, along with Corsair vengeance RGB DDR5 6000MHz. When booting, it turns on for 5 seconds, and turns off. During this time, the error LED starts as orange, then goes red, then goes off. the Q-error LED cycles through various POST sequence codes, but stays on 4F momentarily before the system powers down.
I've opened a chat with support and will probably RMA the board unless i can figure out what's going on. Here's what I've tried:
I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this issue. Other threads mention the above steps usually help fix the issue, but not in my case. I can't get into BIOS to play around with any settings. Support couldn't give any additional information or troubleshooting steps.
I'd like to at least pinpoint the issue to the motherboard as opposed to a RAM or CPU problem, or some installation step I missed before sending off for repair.

Hello
Try reflashing the bios with the bios flashback feature.
Be sure to use the bios renamer or manually rename the bios file to A5557.CAP

I have tried that twice. The flashback led flashed green for several minutes before turning off, so it seems like it worked.

I bought another motherboard to try and the same issue persisted. Also tried another CPU, and that still didn't fix the issue.
Seems like it could be the PSU, or i'm doing something incredibly wrong.

Ok, sorry to hear you're still having issues.
1) Have you installed the motherboard standoffs in the proper place? These are spacers that install into your case.
For your motherboard to power up:
1) Connect the 24-pin main power cable.
2) Connect at least one 8-pin cpu power cable.
3) Make sure your memory is installed in the A2-B2 slots (2nd & 4th slots from the cpu).
4) Install your gpu.
5) Connect your monitor.
6) Connect a mouse and keyboard.
7) Press and hold the clear cmos button for 3 seconds.
8: Try booting up.

I have another PSU coming. Will try that first and see, otherwise I will check standoffs again and the other steps you mentioned. Thanks
