X870 Crosshair Hero Bios update 1805 unstable.

I've been fighting with the newest bios update 1805. I updated from 1715 to 1805 last night (12/12/25. Highly unstable. Even with baseline stock settings. I can't load any games without them crashing during the compiling shaders screen.
BL4 hits 25% and then crashes.
Stellar Blade will hit 80% before it crashes.
FFXIV will load sometimes and then crash minutes later.
Cyber punk I can get the menus, but once I load into the game it crashes.
I tried rolling back and then I discovered you can't. So now I'm F'd.

Specs:
9950x3D
X870 Crosshair hero
Corsair 2x64gb dominator.
ASUS RTX4090 OC
PSU: ax1600i

Did you try reinstall the graphics driver? Also is your Windows update up to date?

Hi @darknessofman

Shader compilation is quite resource-intensive. Could indicate either CPU or memory instability. When you mention baseline stock settings, do you mean Optimised Defaults? Make sure to try without EXPO or any overclocking applied.

Try the new AGESA build here.

Hi

Maybe they removed 1901 bios for Asus x870E hero motherboard?
