Hi all so will try and keep this short
i am useing m2.1 m2.4 m2.5 nvme slots with a 9800x3d Also a Gen4 Nvidia 3080ti top pcie slot.
i cant seem to get m.2.1 to run at gen 5 speed "Crucial T700 PCIe® 5.0 NVMe"
i have the graphics in to PCIE x16 mode so m2.2 and m2.3 are disabled
set in bios m.2.1 to Gen5 not auto and the PCIE x16 to Gen4 and Gen5 still no luck
The Crucial T700 PCIe® 5.0 NVMe still only shows as running in NVMe x4 32.0GT/S
Other drives at NVMe x4 16.0GT/S
Can some one please let me know the config they used to get it to run at Gen5

Hi
Have you run any benchmarks like CystalDiskMark?
From your screenshot everything looks correct. NVMe x4 means that it uses 4 lanes of PCIe interface, that is not generation of the interface.
You can see that there is 32 GT/s for your Crucial SSD and for others you have 16 GT/s. 32 GT/s is for PCIe 5.0.
You can download CrystalDiskInfo (free) or AIDA64 (trial) to get the info about your SSDs. You can check the interface version there - Transfer mode in CrystalDiskInfo.

hi thank you for the information,
exactly what i wanted a fresh idea on how to check,
Used Crystal disk to check and it confirmed using PCIe 5.0 x4
The HWinfo image was just confusing my little brain 🙂
Thanks Again it has confirmed pic just to show
