Strix x870E-E error code 00 after bios update

So last night I decided to update to 1001 bios version. Everything went great updated completed, restarts does some other update for couple seconds then blank screen and my fans continue to ramp up and down with a Q-code of 00. I let it sit there for couple hours and nothing. Since then I have done a few things like pull cpu, no bent pins or burn marks, pulled 1 and both ram sticks, pulled all the usb cables and tried installing older bios through bios flashback since it won't boot into bios. Nothing has worked. Same thing I power it on and the fans ramp up and down and code stays 00 despite what I do. Do you guys believe it could be that I bricked the motherboard?

I have the same exact issue and hardware. I have tried everything. I guess I am taking it back to exchange.

Well, I just ordered another cheap am5 cpu to test a theory that it's the cpu. I have looked around with people having similar issues and it's been the cpu. I ordered it same day so I'll give a update tonight.

Just had something similar happen on an MSI board, is there a BIOS restore to fall back to a prior BIOS version  with ASUS boards.

So there is a bios flash back and I installed a earlier version which resulted in the same thing blank screen and 00 error code.

Monitoring software reboot workaround = enable and you're done 🙂

Care to explain please?

I'm sorry, I read that the error code was 0d, which is a case I've seen here several times and is resolved with the steps mentioned. That's not your case :

Oh ok.

Dang another terrible BIOS version, well a few more crap BIOS updates from ASUS and I'm officially done with them.
