I have a ROG X870E Hero motherboard with a Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, and an RTX 4080 ROG. My SSD setup includes a Crucial T705 1TB in M.2.1, a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB in M.2.2, and another Samsung 990 Pro in M.2.3. I also tested a 970 Evo Plus in M.2.2, and the issue still happens.
The problem is that whenever my PC goes to sleep, the SSD in M.2.2 disappears from Windows. To get it back, I have to restart, enter BIOS, and then reboot.
I’ve already tried changing power settings in Windows, updating BIOS and drivers, adjusting M.2 settings in BIOS, and swapping SSDs between slots, but nothing has fixed it.
Has anyone else had this issue? Could it be a BIOS bug or a problem with the M.2.2 slot? Any help would be appreciated!

I may have found the solution! I turned off the SATA controller and made sure all my M.2 ports with SSDs were set to the correct PCIe version. My 990 Pro is set to PCIe 4.0, and my T705 is set to PCIe 5.0. Now everything works.
