I bought a RogStrix B850 E Gaming Wifi motherboard relying on the specifications provided by the seller, and I was surprised that my 6400MHz Kingston RAM was not compatible with the 7950X3D. I experienced several BSODs, and MEMTEST86 confirmed the errors!
I lowered my RAM to 6000MHz (QVL compatible) and got zero MEMTEST86 errors. However, I am facing a PC reboot problem without any error message.
The Event Viewer does not show any specific error except for two (eventlog and kernel power) that indicate a restart.
It only happens under low load!
- In CineBench R23 Benchmark 36500Pts (nothing)
- In games (nothing)
- Using encoding or video upscaling software (nothing)
My system: 7950X3D, RogStrix B850 E Gaming Wifi, 6000MHz DDR5 Kingston, 850W MSI A850GL, Curve Optimizer on all cores negative -20 (-30 Windows doesn't boot with BSOD and -25 it crashes on the Windows desktop with BSOD)
I don't think it's instability.
Any solutions?
