ROG STRIX X870E-E not detected in Aura Sync

Brysamo
Level 7

Trying to set up my new rig but my mobo doesn't show up at all in aura sync through armory crate.  I tried installing the standalone aura sync but it gave me a "can't find aura service" when i tried to.

I'm also getting a recurring error when i try to update the mobo firmware both from the standalone download on ASUS's page and through armory crate (though it doesn't give me an error code to go with it)

I have experienced this.  I have uninstalled AC using the uninstall program, and then reinstalled AC again.

Do you have Aura Sync turned on in your BIOS?

worked like a charrm, thanks

so i booted my computer back up again and it's back to the same thing.  no detection.

So there is a setting in the BIOS that need to be enabled...  It has to do with the different RGB software (iCue, Aura Sync, etc...) that allows them to work on harmony.

In the BIOS, search for (F9) "Monitoring Software reboot Workaround".  Enable that and see what happens.

It is enabled.  Your solution worked, I just had to do it a second time.  After doing it the second time I linked it to my iCUE program and that seems to have forced it to stay working.
