Loaded 1104 BIOS on my Crosshair Hero today.  With a 7950X3D PBO on, 32x2 Corsair Dominator 6000 set (on the QVL) to EXPO II, and an Asus RTX4080OC Super.

I only have about 5 hours on it and no issues so far.  Only played Cyberpunk 2077 about an hour, the rest of the time was YouTube and Spotify.

Edit:  Just a quick update.  Ran 2 hours of OCCT, all good.  6 hours of Cyberpunk and PoE2, all good.  Several hours of browser stuff; YT, Netflix etc.  Have made several, guessing about eight, reboots (one to change a couple of things: apps DB enabled, disabled integrated graphics.)  Before with any EXPO, 1 in 3 reboots would exhibit some kind of issue like some BSODs, lockups, USBs not working right.  No issues with rebooting so far.  All in all, been 100% solid.

Just noticed this version in no longer knowing beta.  Going to update tonight and follow up with an update.  Currently on 7.02 without issues

I completed the 1104 update on a ROG STRIX X870E-E board, no issue to report.

Using 9800X3d and G.SKILL Flare X5 64GB at 6000 CL30.

I updated from 1103 to 1104, previously I was on 0806 and 0606 no issue.

With 1103 and 1104 I m getting when I restart PC 0d error and dram q led light fixed. I had to force shut off pressing start button on my case. This occurs with restart, not with cold boot. My ram are EXPO and on QVL list.

I called Asus and told me to enable Monitoring Software reboot Workaround.

Atm seems to work. Strange that wasnt happening before on previous bios

Does anyone explain what it does? Should I leave enable or investigate furthermore?

Hey Mario,

I had that issue with all the Bios updates.  So I would always enable it.  From what I read it bypasses a full resart when making changes within the Asus monitoring software.

Been 11.04 for a week now and it's been solid.   No issues.

My ram is clocked at 6000mhz and cpu is overclocked and under volted with PBO and curve shaper without any issues.

UPDATE: I found the setting using the bios search function.  This must be a new feature as it was not in the manual.  Don't know the path to it but enabled when it was found using the search function.  Thanks for sharing as I thought the 0d was an error caused by my memory overclock.  This was causing me to go down a rat hole.

I am having the same issue of a 0d upon restart so want to enable Monitoring Software per your suggestion.  Bios is 1104.  When I review the  x870e bios manual, I only find the word "monitoring" in the SMART Self Test for SATA.  Is this what needs to be enabled?  If I am mistaken, could you please direct me to the bios setting that needs to be enabled.  Thanks.

It happens on restart but not cold boot, as told by Asus, update or any software that monitors temperature or other feature could interfere with boot up sequence
