I am unable to boot. The VRM heatsink ARGB lights flash in order till I insert the CPU (9700X). Then the VRM heatsink flashes and the memory light flashes instead of a solid color as it does on my X870-A, which is functionally identical to the X870-F. Once memory of one stick is installed G.Skill Trident NEO RGB 6000/30 (on QVL), it does not start.
I cleared CMOS but all behavior is the same. I then tried flashing the BIOS with BIOS Flashback (A5771.CAP) and no light comes on after 3 seconds. Only the VRM ARGB light turns off while I have the button down. My USB stick is an 8GB fat32 drive that I have successfully BIOS flashbacked all my other Asus motherboards with. I also tried another drive but that one is bigger at 16GB. Oddly the flash drive indicator light was also blinking like the vrm rgb. I have not been able to find a post anywhere describing this situation. Is my board bricked DOA?
