it seems the sound is not working on linux 

latest Fedora 41 kernel detects the soundcard but there is not output on the speakers

im using the digital output

Had the same issue on Fedora 41 no sound through digital out even though the card showed up. Found a fix while digging through a thread on money6x.com.

and can you tell me how you fixed it ?

IIRC, PipeWire does not support the codec or driver used by this sound card. Someone on Reddit suggested either using PulseAudio or switching to a USB mixer or DAC.
