ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO BSODs caused by Asmedia USB 3.2 controller

Dodgexander
Level 8

Asus aren't really helping me saying I have to RMA my brand new motherboard.

Since I have had it, roughly every week I get one BSOD when idle or web browsing with the message:

DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

I'm no idiot when it comes to BSODs having troubleshooted these issues for years.

Debugging my MiniDUMP files always points towards the same device, the Asmedia USB 3.2 USB controller.

I have the latest driver released in March by Microsoft and I have the latest firmware already (as confirmed by trying to update the firmware from the Asus support page and receiving a message that I have the latest firmware).

Has anyone else had this problem and have a fix?

Here's a link to my dump files:

thank you for any help you can give!
