ROG CROSSHAIR X870E EXTREME ?

Hi all,

Would this model be planned for the future ?

Because this one existed: ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME

So it would be logical to see an X870E version appear?

Could possibly reveal it at CES in January.

Hopefully we will get an answer on that. I am thinking of going with MSI Godlike, so It would be a shame if they came out with it after I bought the Godlike for Christmas 😞 As much as I appreciate the Godlike, I have always found them ugly. I sent an email to the Motherboard Division Director, Albert Chang, so we'll see if he writes me back.

Im sure it will be released at CES '25.  Hopefully an x870e Formula as well.  39 more days.

The X870E Extreme and Gene were both registered a few months ago, so most likly as Sallyboy715 stated,.. look for release soon after CES 25, Jan 7 2025.

Why would they make a x870E  extreme board with the same features thats allready exist in the x670E version only wifi7 would be a new feature.

Maybe if they drop 2 dimm slots its would make sense to get some reason to buy it.

exactly $$$$!  Why does any company come out with a new product every year that's basically the same as the last except for 1 "new" thing.

I don't care if it's for money or something else. I just want it EXTREME on my another build 😁
