ROG CROSSHAIR X870E APEX BOARD

I hope this board is easier to get than Lord Astral90, but seriously folks, I note a release date of 5/9 but what memories are you considering for this board? I'm looking at GsKill F5-6000j2836F48GX2-T5ZNR. Looks like the mostest with the fastest for a 9950X3D and Crucial T705 4TB to run DCS and MSFS2024 flight simulators.

I note ASUS site now has raised the price to $799 USD for APEX and the Hero board was now $594 on AMA

Just get the hero, you’re not gonna see any differences:

I don't settle on pc parts anymore. I will default to my X670E EXTREME before I settle for a Hero, which I have in an X570E AM4 board that sports an RTX3090 and R9 X5950. My Lord Astral90, R9 9950X3D and 96GB Cl28 G's Kill 6000 memory will patiently wait for it's MOTHER!

Mother has arrived. Placed rather in the Lian_Li O11D EVO XL with a new front mesh panel with two 160mm Silverstone Shark Force fans initiated by Lord Astral 90. Ryujin III 360mm AIO. I recommend using as basic a KBM you may have. Code 98 was a bit of a problem and moving them around to get it to finally POST. My new wired/wirless LOGITECH KBM didn't play well. I unplugged everything unnecessary from USB. The only real problem I had because I learned patience with the X670E especially when it comes to flashing BIOS, Patience Grasshopper. No weird issues with 12VHPWR molded connectors from Lian Li Edge PSU. NO FIRES!! No Overclocking yet save for EXPO and just below average scores in 3DMark Port Royal. 975Watt Draw on 900W rated UPS caused alerts. Monitor moved to "Surge" corrected the alarm but not the 975Watt draw when DCS is loaded. Nvidia overlay reports 180FPS at 5120x1449 better at 60Hz GPU 99%, GLOBAL settings in LOD to satisfy 3DMark tests. All 176 FOPS are accounted for. My BIG BEAUTIFUL CASE is so fat and heavy I need a special table because it hides behind my monitor and it offers useful information.
