New built PC wont post on Cold Startup - Solid Orange DRAM light.

Hi all,

Just built a new PC with the below hardware.

MB - Asus ROG Strix B850-F
CPU - Ryzen 9 9950X3d
Ram - Kingston Fury DDR5 6000 16GB x 2
Cooler - ASUS ROG STRIX LC III 360
PSU - Be Quiet! Pure Power 12M 1000W
SSD - Samsung M.2 2TB.

-On cold PC startup, cannot get it to post. Solid Orange light on motherboard stays. If i hit the restart button on the front panel it will reboot and stay orange for about 20sec then PC boots into post and windows 11 fine.

-Shutting down and starting up the PC will post and boot into windows fine within a couple of hours of shutting down the PC.

Anything after a few hours or overnight i have the same issue with orange light on motherboard and wont post. Doing the same restart method it will eventually boot fine.

-Any restarts while in windows and PC boots fine.

-I have updated to the latest Bios and it still has the same issue.
-I have swapped memory modules and tried single ones and have the same issue. so i have ruled this out. (Memory used is on the compatible list on Asus website)
-I have unplugged all cables to and from the PSU to Motherboard and all are seated fine.
-I have reset the CMOS using the reset button on the back of the motherboard twice during troubleshooting and end up back with the same issue.
-CPU is seated fine, no bent pins etc. Have experience building PC's.
-GPU is seated fine, removed and reinstalled.

Upon booting into windows and using the PC for work/gaming it shows no issues at all.

Im at a loss, all equipment was purchased brand new.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

i have resolved this issue now. removed the CMOS battery for 10 min and this has sorted out the issue. just clearing the CMOS via the button on the motherboard did not have the same effect. hopefully if anyone experiences the same issues this can help them.
