I'm having issues with Crucial T705 2TB nvme ssd gen5 on asus rog strix x870e-e gaming wifi mobo.
System is new and I only use m2_1 slot. Plugged ssd and installed windows. Then system suddenly restarted and bios came up to screen. The ssd was gone at bios. Then powered off and on my pc. Windows came up and ssd was there. After 5-10 minutes later, a bsod occured and pc suddenly restarted again to bios and ssd was gone again. Same situation always happened again and again. Then I sent my ssd to where I bought it. They replaced and sent different serial numbered(last 2 numbers differ) Crucial T705. But same problem occured. I sent new ssd again to seller and gave up using T705. But I wanted them to send me crucial T700 with heatsink and the leftover money. They told me ok. Now I am waiting for my new ssd T700.
If same problem occurs and because of ssd, I will give up using Crucial ssd's. If problem is because of mobo, I will give up using asus mobos. I'm tired of this situation! I tried same port with my friends corsair (gen3) 4tb ssd, that worked like a charm. I dont know what the real problem is and I don't have any other ssd to test. I also tested my ssd at all m2 slots. Nothing changed.
Is the issue because of Ssd, or mobo's gen5 thing?
My system:
Asus rog strix x870e-e gaming wifi, amd ryzen 7 9800x3d cpu, gskill trident z5 2x24mb dual ram kit, asus tuf 1200w psu, corsair icue h150i elite lcd xt cpu cooler, haf700evo case. No gpu yet, I am going onboard vga, waiting to buy rtx5080 after solving this issue.
