How to remove M.2 cover on Crosshair x870E Hero

I am trying to remove the cover on the M.2_2 and M.2_3 slots. I want to install a Samsung 9100 pro in the M.2_2 slot. I have loosened the two screws, but the cover will not budge. I can see the motherboard flex as I try to lift the cover. Is there some release I do not know about?

There are 4 screws, two on the Black area with the white writing an two above them in the Graphic area
