Gpu upgrade now or wait?

I had a ASUS lc 6900xt and I sold it to move on from AIO. I was planing on replacing it with a 7900xt than I realized new Gen was coming in January. I also started questioning if the 9070 would be a real upgrade. I have noticed that there's Ryzen systems that have Nvidia graphics. I've always paired AMD boards with AMD graphics. I have the x870e Hero board with a 7900x Ryzen. Any suggestions? Thanks in advanced.

I think u should wait, new card for AMD and NVIDIA will get released on January, so if u want to upgrade, u can get the 7900xt even at lower price. my expectation are little too shabby after the news 9070 leaked benchmarks that will perform like a 7800xt with ray tracing improvements and will have lower rt cores 64 than 70 of the 6800xt. maybe the price will justify this and get more audience towards AMD. We will see with time. But my raccomandation remains the same do not upgrade GPU now
