Hi,
I have ASUS TUF GAMING X870-PLUS WIFI mainboard and AMD 9800x3D CPU. I want to update my BIOS but I can't do it. I downloaded lastest BIOS version from https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-x870-plus-wifi/helpd...
I formatted my USB with FAT32. My mainboard does not update my BIOS, reboot normally. (BTW fast boot and secure boot are close)

I have solved the problem. I removed all hardware (CPU, GPU, RAM etc). I just plugged the motherboard with a 24 PIN ATX power cable and tried the BIOS Flashback feature with success. I am now using the latest version BIOS.

Hi.....
Have your tried BIOS FlashBack :

The update can also be done directly via the UEFI/BIOS. To do this, boot the PC into the UEFI and from there access the stick with the Ez Flash and select the unpacked BIOS file on the stick. Then follow the instructions on the monitor.
An automatic update, where you just plug in the stick, etc., is only possible via FlashBack, as @Katana1074 has already noted.

Yes, I tried. I set the USB to be FAT32 and MBR. I changed the name of the BIOS to "BIOSRenamer.exe". I plugged the USB into the BIOS port of the motherboard. I press the Flashback button for 3 seconds, but the LED does not light up. When I do this, the motherboard receives power. The motherboard lights are on and the computer is off. I can also record a video if you want. Unfortunately, it does not work.

you have to use the biosrenamer.exe to change the bios file name to A5569.CAP

Yes, that's what I'm doing.

While doing this, the CPU, RAM and GPU are plugged in. As far as I know, I don't need to remove them.

Just to clarify, you are copying A5569.CAP (which is the bios file) to your flash drive

Yeah, absolutely. I can videotape the whole process for you if you want. I just want to solve this problem.

Perfect, can you try a different usb flash drive or format your usb drive as fat ?
