I’m unable to enter the BIOS when my graphics card is installed.
I’ve already tried several settings in the BIOS, such as:
Integrated Graphics Controller: Disabled
Primary Video Device: PCIe
When the GPU is installed, the system also takes a long time to boot.
I recently installed new RAM and tested EXPO I, EXPO II, and MCR ON, fast boot disabled, but nothing changes.
If I try to boot directly into the BIOS (with the GPU installed), the system hangs and doesn’t display anything.
Without the GPU, everything works perfectly — I can access the BIOS normally.
I’ve already reset the BIOS multiple times, but the issue persists.
Any ideas what could be causing this or what else I could try?

I also have trouble accessing the BIOS at boot with my Crosshair Hero 870 using displayport connection with my RTX 4080 Super.
The work-around is to use the HDMI connection from the GPU to the monitor especially when rebooting...
Note: Sometimes (not all the time - hit or miss) can access the BIOS with Displayport when booting from a cold startup but hardly ever when re-booting unless I am using the HDMI connection from the GPU to the monitor.

restart and keep repressing delete key to get to the bios

I’ve persistently had this issue with my Samsung Odyssey Neo 49” monitor. What I’ve found that works is to set your monitor to 60hz and turn off adaptive sync. Reboot to get the boot menu. Then go back into Windows and set your desired frequency and turn back on adaptive sync. Even though you probably don’t have the same monitor, give it a try.

Ummm... huh?! I understand what I read. I guess I have yet to experience this symptom.
How are you updating the BIOS? Are you using the feature on the back of your motherboard? I found this to be a solid first step. That method rewrites every sector of the EPROM. I notice that not all sectors of the EPROM update when using the feature within the UEFI GUI. I recall watching only two sectors update many months ago, which caused me to change my method of updating any BIOS.
I see you tried forcing the mobo to use the PCIe video output...
Have you tried another recent BIOS? It sounds like something related to the initialization of the dGPU...
Are you watching for any boot codes on the mobo itself as it tries to initialize? Does it get stuck on a particular number?

After several Bios resets it works now. No idea why.
EXPO I and MCR ON, fast boot disabled. Display port used.
