Built a new computer with X870E-E and 7800X3D. Was working well, then prompted to update Asus Chipset which after update took several minutes for it to go from black screens to windows login. Then updated NVIDA driver to current for 4090 and again when restarting the PC would start up but black screens for several minutes before going to windows login (well after initial moment of ASUS mobo loading screen where you can hit buttons to get into Bios)
Then looked into it and found my bios version was the original bios from initial release of X870E-E boards. Did the USB update in Bios tools and after about 10-20 minutes all good to go. But when I restart the computer, same thing, starts up, asus load screen and then a few minutes of black screen till it shows Windows login screen (even though minutes ago I heard the windows audio tone).
What did I mess up?
