Recently I have updated my bios and had some trouble with it starting up properly again after the update. My pc was stuck in boot with the cpu status led turned on. After a few different things I tried resetting the cmos as mentioned in the manual and it worked again well, right after.
Now I wanted to start my pc again and I am back to the same issue as before. This time however, cmos reset seems to not be fixing the issue anymore.
After trying it a few times and also trying the reset button several times, I suddenly got past the CPU status led and after a long time I got the screen telling me to enter enter the bios, which I did. Without configuring anything in them I exited and it went back to being ststatusthe cpu status light.
It doesn't seem to just affect the cpu though but also my GPU which takes extremely long before the status LED disappears. I even tried before to just let my pc sit in this state for probably 10 to 15 minutes but that didn't help with anything, as far as I could tell.
Does anyone know what could be the issue?
For now I will try to update down to version 0903 and see if this will fix the issue.

0903 went off without a hitch as I would have expected.
Specs:
9800x3d
4080 FE
Ram Sets that I tried:
4x 16gb TridentZ5 Neo cl30
2x 16gb Corsair Vengeance & 2x 16gbVengeance LED Version cl36
Samsung 990 Pros

Update: Updating back to Version 0903 seems to have fixed the issue. Everything booted up right away, even with decent speed.
I even checked my cpu driver again, in case I had misread and hadn't updated to the correct one. But either Armory Crate is showing me wrong versions or I am on the correct version, meaning that there should be no cpu driver compatability issue.

What version had you updated to? I assume 1003, yes? What CPU and other hardware do you have?

Yup. Updated to 1003. My pc specs are:
Ryzen 9 9950X, Aorus Master 4080 Super, Rog strix X870-F, Corsair Vengeance 64 GB, Samsung 990 Pro 4TB, Thoughpower GF3 850W Gold - TT Premium Edition

I had the same issue. I finally got around to getting my 9800x3d in and used the x870-F board and usually update to the latest bios (1003) and it bricked me. Took the board back to BestBuy thinking it was an issue with the board tried to update again and bricked the 2nd board too. The board came with 0606 and works pretty good on it so I ruled out the Chip. I had a bunch of various sets of DDR5 and wouldnt post on any of the sets. I did turn expo off before and tried everything. I think there was an issue in the bios because I see they launched a 1003 Beta today. I may try the 0903.

You got stuck on CPU status light, right? And when starting up it also took very long for the DRAM light to go out?
But yeah. As I mentioned in my update, going back to 0903 has fully fixed the issue and I have not had any issues since then. (Still running on 0903 atm)

Stuck on the yellow light perpetually. Wouldn’t post or anything. Trying 0903 as we speak but got 0606 on another drive just in case. Fingers crossed. I have never, in the almost 30 years working with computers, had a bios update brick me.

Interesting. I also had been stuck on DRAM led a few times but more consistently the CPU led. What system specs do you have, if I may ask?
Wishing you best of luck, let me know if it got fixed.

Glad it worked for you aswell.
Since you had tested different RAM I recon that is not the issue. But we do both have the same 990 PRO so maybe that is the root cause of this issue.
You think it might be worth reporting?
