So I was having some periodic crashes playing COD and contacted Activision.  They let me know i had to update my bios so I did as well as some chipset drivers....now the pc won't post and it tried to repair itself but failed... I might have loved the wrong chupset drivers from another motherboard??? How to repair? Suggestions?

Hello Joeiannu1385

Failing a repair means time to reinstall windows.

After installing windows, install this chipset driver. - TUF GAMING X870-PLUS WIFI|Motherboards|ASUS Global

Can I do a recovery disc to repair it? While keeping my files? What do u suggest?

It's probably better to do a fresh install with the bios at default settings.
