ASUS ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIF Memory errors after AMD EXPO Profile

Hi

My Config: X870E-E GAMING WIFI, AMD 7700X, G Skill F5-6400J3239G16GX2-TZ5NRW.

I have strange problem. I have memory errors when I use EXPO profiles. (Memtest software was: memtest86 and passmark memtest ). without expo profile there is no errors. This memory kit have EXPO profile compatibility and kit is in QVL list.

P. S I tested this memory kit on Intel config with 6400 profile and have no errors.

The same thing happens to me with my Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB modules: at 6000MT they generate errors in both MemTest86 and OCCT. I tested by adjusting the speed to 5800MT, and it was the same. At 5600MT, I no longer get any errors. You could try the same. It seems to me that the issue might be with the voltages, but I don't want to spend more time on this, so I'll wait for a new BIOS version to see if the problem is resolved. I have a post similar to yours.

Bad news. Searched a lot of time to find compatible memory kit 😡 I hope so

Which BIOS are you using?

Latest for now: 0706

Like Peconare suggested, you would be better off using 0606 for now.  It seems to be a stable BIOS for majority of users and far easier to get the DIMMs to  behave.  

I am using EXPO2 on 6000/cl28 (QVL listed Corsair) and have no issues at all with some tuning from Buildzoid videos.

I've had issues posting with EXPO enabled on 0706. Have you tried 0606, that one is rock solid for me and EXPO works out of the gate.

No. When I received MB there was first initial bios. Latest one was 0706. Looks like this is bios issue if 0606 have no expo problems. there are two option rollback to 0606 or wait to new bios release.

If you are having issues with EXPO on 0706, I would suggest flashing 0606. I have reported the EXPO issues on 0706 to Asus. They have reached out to me for my specific configuration. I have provided all info, let's see what they say. I hope they fix this.

Can you tell me which communication platform are you used to contact asus support. I will also send feedback.
