Hi, i've recently bought a new pc with this MB with a 7950x3d. All was ok until i did an update and it started to do a restart but froze on a 1A error. rang the company was advised to test ram. Ram tested all was ok. restarted pc and all was ok even on restarts. now windows updated again and now it won't start, i have to go into bios (f1) exit without saving. so my problem is is it eitther hangs on 1A or 46 q code until i hold down the on button then restart to bios.. All's ok apart from this.... I've done memtest and windows mem test and there's no issues... please help as it's driving me mad..

Hi...
Do you have armoury crate installed, it has been known to cause issues (Hence the workaround in bios), other thing to check is your CPU mount, AM5 socket is very sensitive to uneven pressure or too much or too little pressure can cause a plethora of issues as I found out....

Hi, i do have armoury crate installed but i'm a dissabled (hands etc don't work very well) newb and i'm not able to test the seating of the cpu.. It was working fine up until this latest update.. i'll try to figure this workaround you've mentioned. but tbh no idea there either.. 😉

Hi....
Go into the bios, go to Extreme Tweaker menu, enter the Tweakers Paradise menu, then enable monitoring software workaround...
Hope this helps
