I am getting sick of this motherboard (x870e strix) issue after issue. I have never had any issues on z390e strix pc, it worked flawlessly. I upgraded to this rig thinking I can have high end performance but that was far from the truth. The problem I am having on my x870e strix is, when I shutdown my pc and then after a while I want ti use my pc again, I then press the pc case power button to turn on the pc and when the pc is powering on I then press anykey on the keyboard it takes me into bios. Yet the default key for bios is DEL or F2. I dont understand why this is happening? Also when the pc has been shutdown, the rbg on the motherboard is still on and I then press anykey on the keyboard while the pc has been shutdown the RGB on the keyboard lights up in its defult rgb and looks like the keyboard is turned on and connected to the wireless dongle while the pc has been shutdown. In this state when I turn on the pc it goes straight into bios because a key was pressed on the keyboard. If I dont press anything on the keyboard the pc boots fine and takes me into windows. Now I tested the keyboard wired and I pressed anykey on the keyboard and turned on the pc and again the keyboard lights up as though its connected and when I turn on the pc on I am in the bios.
Specs: 7950x, x870e strix, 6000Mhzt ddr5 32gb, rtx4080s, asus 1000wat plat psu, 1tb 990 evo for OS. Keyboard stealseries apex pro, mouse stealseries aerox 5.
