I have a X870E Crosshair Extreme as mentioned above Though the onboard 5" Display work IE : Shows post codes on boot , ROG Graphic in windows, I have no control over it in Armoury Crate, When i click on the MB in AC it pops up with a Error stating please go to the official site and get Firmware 0109 sending me to Asus's Site , Though this firmware is non Existent as far as i can find and 10 uninstalls and reinstalls of AC havent fixed it . I saw that the z890 Extreme had a Similar Issue but the Firmware for the Display Actually exists ..
Any Help Appreciated..

Looks like they put up the firmware for the LCD if you all still have your boards to give it a try and post results... I'm curious

Cool I doubted them on my board but I have two customers that have them , I did the z890 Maximus so you just unzip the file and run the exe , this shows that half of Asus know nothing about what the other half are doing , just think if I had my non working board still and shipped it out for Rma for 10 days while everyone just applied the patch lol smh

Yeah I think you all got their attention, I'm assuming they already knew it was an issue. Maybe a certain run or group of lot numbers. Too bad it took so long to post a relatively simple file.

Applied the firmware that asus posted and it applied successfully. my lcd was working with armory crate before and after firmware update but any changes when you reboot still do not stick which honestly makes the lcd pointless because the default values are useless.

Happy to report the firmware update worked for me! But it almost gave me a heart attack in doing so...
First time I ran the firmware updater, it got to 2% threw an error, then stopped. My screen went completely black, and it persisted through mulitple reboots.
"Crap," I thought, "Now I've actually bricked it."
But I decided to try the updater again, explicitly running it in administrator mode and... It worked.
Sadly, @wadup , I can't speak to the issue you're having with the display reseting every time you restart. I did a bit of troubleshooting on my end to see if I could provoke your issue, but nada: my settings are persisting through restarts and even cold boots starting with the PSU off.
To the extent I have any complaints now, it's just that the screen seems to lack a 90 degree rotation function and does not allow you to both select your own image and use the hardware monitor. I suppose that's a feature request for the future though- customizable screens.

I did two boards one just worked one simular to you just blacked out and stopped , I did that in safe mode so both worked

Interesting, let me do some testing see if I can get the settings to stick fixed.

Before I was only installing certain things in Armory Crate, now I installed everything. When I reboot or shutdown the LCD goes back to default for me. When windows boots and Armory Crate services start the customizations come back.
Curious if anyone else is having this issue?

I'm pretty sure that is 'working as intended'. As far as I can tell, the screen has no onboard memory or ability to alter the default settings. So the pre-boot environment and OS without Armoury Crate will always rever to that default screen. Once the PC boots and AC services are loaded, it'll load your custom settings.

That's normal , AC can't control it outside of windows , you can change some actions outside of windows via the bios aura settings like, when pc is off , sleeping etc , ie when pc is sleeping , all off all on aura off aura on etc
