i upgraded my home to gfiber 5gb installed bros trend which im guessing is a realtek PCIe 5Gb e family controller the cd installed driver version 1126.16.1123.2023 ran the windows update it comes back with using Realtek - net - 11.15.327.2024 ?????
tried to update form site below window says best driver is already in use ,anyway i still have the same speed as the 2.4gb onboard lan
Yeah, you can, but make sure your switch supports 5Gb speeds too, or it'll bottleneck. Kinda like trying to cook Texan recipes with a dull knife, won't get the best results!
