.Hello, Im going to buy an Asus Rog Strix X870E - E Gaming motherboard and an RTX 5080 + AMD processor. But having consulted the motherboard manual
on Asus support I read this.
M2.2 and M2.3 slots share bandwidth with PCIEX16 (G5). When M2.2 and M2.3 are occupied by SSD devices, PCIeX16 (G5) will only work at x8.
M2-1 slot (key M) , type 2242/2260/2280 (support PCIe 5.0x4 mode)
M2-2 slot (key M) , type 2242/2260/2280 (support PCIe 5.0x4 mode)
M2-3 slot (key M) , type 2242/2260/2280 (support PCIe 5.0x4 mode)
On this motherboard I will install 2 SSD 5th génération. So I would like an opinion to know on which slot should I put Windows and MSFS2024 to
optimize my PC and the PCIe X16 port, knowing that the M2 - 1 lot is not used
