X670E HERO BIOS 1516 BUG

After updating to bios 1516 i cant see UEFI LOGO anymore. Only way to get UEFI logo (ASUS logo) to display is when i boot to windows and restart pc.

Never happend before idk what is the problem. Happens on cold boot.

Nothing changed in my build and every pc component is from asus rog. Using strix 4090.

Using monitor Samsung 49" Odyssey G9 5120x1440p. firmware 1019

Hello,

Go to Boot Options and check if Setup Animator is enabled.

Unless you mean you're not getting any display out at all. Check for latest VBIOS on support page for the GPU.

Strix 4090 UEFI firmware updated to latest. Same with VBIOS. I didnt have this problem on previous bios for x670e hero. Seems they changed logo for asus and bugged it. Idk how to fix it. But it only happens on cold boot. When i restart pc i can get uefi screen and enter it.

It’s not anything to do with the splash screen or logo. When it happens, what does the Q-code LED display?

There is no errors. My pc just boot to windows 11 but never display asus logo. Im using uefi mode.

I just reverted back to BIOS 1415 and problem is gone. Its a bug with motherboard bios. Idk if asus will ever fix this and i will be stuck on bios 1415 forever.

BIOS settings i use since x670e release: Secure boot enable uefi only, expo enabled, igpu disabled.
