I had this issue at least twice on my new build.
I will get a BSOD error shortly after starting my PC. And it seems to happen when I'm not really demanding much from the computer. First time it happened I just on my desktop getting ready to change my discord avatar.
The build is using 2x48g G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB ram which seems to not be a supported memory for the motherboard. However, when I reached out to G.Skill technical support they told me that whatever is on their QVL is what they have tested at their facility.
When I'm playing games, the computer runs great. But I am a little concerned about getting a bluescreen. It's a custom build, so it could be anywhere in the system that has the issue but I am just trying to narrow it down. I love the board and would hate to RMA it.
Solved! Go to Solution.

The DRAM Q-LED being lit at POST likely indicates DRAM training. This process can take 3 to 5 minutes depending on the memory configuration.
Once you've established the memory is stable with OS-based tests such as Karhu RAM Test or TM5, enable Memory Context Restore in the UEFI to retain the last successful POST training parameters.
Also, yes, update to the latest UEFI revision so that 48gb DIMMs are fully supported, as auto rules may not be suitable otherwise.

Power Supply Idle Control [Typical Current Idle] See is you have this in CPU Settings. Set that instead of Auto or Low Power Mode.

Mine did the same thing. I had to buy supported memory to make my issues go away.

Can you confirm if the behaviour persists with EXPO disabled? Both the memory and board vendors have their own QVL, however, as EXPO/XMP is overclocking manual tuning can be necessary.

I actually just turned on EXPO in bios, and I haven't had the issue since. But I did just try to download an audio driver from armory crate and do a restart and the motherboard had the RAM light on for about 6 minutes before going through the rest of the start up lights.
I am thinking the solution may be updating from BIOS 1303 to BIOS version 1415, which has a patch to support 48g DDR5.
