Just got a new board after it fried my CPU and was excited to see everything resolved. Unfortunately even after the firmware update and latest drivers on teh asus website the audio is still popping if I use optical audio. It is horrible and jarring. Anyone have any luck getting this fixed? W11 latest drivers and firmware with latest bios 1415

Hello,
Have you checked Latencymon to see if any background services are causing high DPC latency? https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon

just did and everything is green, no issues with that

Ok.
1) Have you checked device manager, any exclamation marks or uninstalled devices?
2) Some users have found success by disabling Windows dynamic timers, see here
3) Remove DOCP or any system overclocking and see if issue persists

all dirvers up to date, docp off, windows dynamic timers also off. same problem. I have no issues when using the 3.5mm audio output, only optical audio. dxgkernal is showing some latency but nothing awful i dont think
