x670E Extreme No Boot Screen 1202 BIOS Version

Hi all,

I upgraded my system this weekend. I have the ASUS x670E Extreme Board, combined with the ROG STRIX 4090.
With CSM support disabled, I do net get a boot screen on the DP ports. I get a boot screen on the HDMI port only.
I have 2 montiors via display port connected to the card and I only get a boot screen when I connect something to the HDMI port.
I have tried many things. I also tried the firmware update from nvidia for the GPU, but seems that the fix is already installed.

Currently running the system with CSM support enabled, but then you cannot enable rezisable Bar.

The system is running stable without any issues.

I have used the 4090 for 2 months with a Z390 setup, CSM support disabled with no issues.

System Specs:
AMD 7950x3d
x670E Extreme Board
2x32GB GSkill Memory
ROG STRIX 4090 (installed without riser cable)
Corsair HX1500i PSU
Windows 10 Pro OS

Thanks in advance for any help

Yes I did disable the iGPU. Also tried with only one monitor. The only thing that worked was using the HDMI port.

Last Friday, I had the previous BIOS, which has since been removed.
With the new BIOS 1202, the option to disable the iGPU has vanished. Now, with CSM support enabled, the iGPU gets disabled automatically. With CSM support disabled, the iGPU gets enabled.

there is a new bios release just Yday. try to do a cmos reset then directly after do a bios update and see if it works better. i get black screens on system load after i did a bios update last friday so im gonna try this new beta bios out and try to replace the rm1000i(bought in 2015 so its a bit old) psu to a hx1500i and worst case downgrade bios to 1003 which was my last working bios.

u have exact same specs as me appart from the psu and my pc is booting on one of the DP ports on the 4090 or one of the HDMI ports on it. i have 2 monitors connected to usb-c igpu and then 3 monitors on the gpu

Thanks for your suggestion. I will try this.
Just figured out, that the option to control the iGPU is only available when CSM support is DISABLED.

Funny thing is, the first boot (without shutdown) when changing CSM setting, there is a picture. After a shutdown no more...

on my tuf 4090 the port in red are the one the bios shows up on it mixes depending on if the monitor is awake or not

the green are where i also have other monitors connected but it never outputs there.

it is really weird why it changes ports not sure why

Just tested this... Does not work on my Strix. I get a picture just on the HDMI that you labeled green.
Very strange... On my previous Z390 System all was working fine...

So I did a CMOS reset and installed BIOS 1303 after. Still the same issue.

I had a similar problem, caused by setting a high refresh rate on the 240Hz monitor, if I set it lower the problem disappeared and the boot screen was ok.

I have the same problem any fix for this? I had to disable CSM which means you lose resizeable bar!
