Hello
I have one 4Tb Samsung 990 pro in the m.2_1 slot. I bought a second 4Tb 990 pro to put in one of the other slots. No matter what I do all it will show in the bios is a 256gb drive vs the 4 tb that is recognized and the boot drive. Bios is upto dat any ideas? It shows the second drive as a spcc m.2 PCI’s 256gb when is suppose to be 4 tb Samsung

Hello Katsa
Have you assigned your new drive a letter with disk management?

Where did you purchase your new drive? You would not be the first person who got scammed by a shady seller online... A sticker can be counterfit so what it says on the drive is no guarantee either.
Do the 256GB drive disappear in bios if you remove your new drive from the computer?

Best Buy , I had already taken one back thinking it was bad this is the second, and yes if I take it out it goes away. I moved the boot drive to other slots and it works but just won’t work on the second drive other than showing 256 gab when it’s 4 tb

Was it an open box purchase?
Can you test it in a different computer? Or can you get somebody else to test it for you? If you are comfortable with testing out a bootable Linux system on an usb stick, you could check out what Linux identifies it as.
This still sounds like a mislabeled drive to me.

Will do this in the am and put in an older pc and revert
