x670e-e gaming wifi 9800x3d issues

Hi all, was wondering if anyone was having issues upgrading from a 7800x3d to 9800x3d. Updated to latest 2506 bios prior to install and swapped out the CPUs, and installed the latest AMD chipset. The 9800x3d seems to be working at stock, but once I enable expo 1 OC settings, it goes completely unstable, games crashing at launch, blue screens galore. Think it has to do with RAM, but I had a completely stable system with the 7800x3d. My ram is the G.skill trident F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR, and it's definitely been on the support memory list for quite some time.

Anyone with similar issues?

Also having this issue,  everything up to date chipset/bios wise. Tried both xmp profiles and they both lead to a hang and eventual reset of the pc, or just and immediate reset.

Interesting I've been stable using no expo profile at default speeds of 4800mhz. Sounds like we have the same problem.

Lowered speed to 5800mhz with xmp profile and seems to be ok, made a few runs in tarkov and didn't have issues so far, will continue to test.

I've got 2506 bios and runnin 9800X3D (pbo -30/+200Mhz oc) with no problems, im thinkin you might have a bad memory stick.

i've got KF560C36BBEAK2-32 memory, runnin with EXPO I/II with no problems and currently runnin bit tighter settings@6000Mhz, You might wanna try one by one those mem sticks on the motherboard.

Thanks for the reply, going to give that kit a try.

I also have a similar setup, upgraded from 7800x3d to 9800x3d, fails to post, MB is stuck on the orange memory led

Using bios 3057, have swapped the memory sticks around etc, if I put my 7800x3d back in everything is all good.

Im stuck 😞

I cant even get my pc to boot with expo enabled.   Just build a new 9800x3d / Strix x670e-a yesterday.   updated bios last night to the current version.  my ram is on the supported list.  I was really hoping to find something to do that could fix.  kinda disappointing with being such a new build.

Any ideas or support would be great.

And I have similar DIMM's but higher class 32-F5-6000J3238G32Gx2-TZ5NR 2x32(PC5-48000).

Using X670E Extreme Board and BIOS V.2403 w/o any issues. I wish I could help y'all. Beyond Clear CMOS and start again with memory at default. Test your DIMM's one at a time w/Memtest86.
