ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options
to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

Test BIOSes:
new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)
DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)

for crosshair and strix e-e:
explanation of segment2 Loadline:
customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.
example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.
Adds for x3d
dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok
Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4
Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide
works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

@SAFEDISK two more tests reducing the boost clock value. 105w/105w PBO ECO mode. My air cooler is a DeepCool Assassin III with liquid metal thermal paste.
Cinebench R20 PBO 105W-105W CPU BOOST CLK OVER 400 NEGATIVE
Cinebench R20 PBO 105W-105W CPU BOOST CLK OVER 350 NEGATIVE

@SAFEDISK Will the beta BIOS support the new Epyc 4004 series processors?

Even if it does, then we need ECC ram too (I believe).

Ryzen doesn't disable ECC and from looking at the SuperMicro motherboards that support Epyc 4004, they appears to use up to 192GB UDIMM, similar to Ryzen. We do need more RAM options that support ECC though.

PBO ECO MODE 105W and 105W
What helped a lot in this optimization were the maximum consumption in terms of power adjusted by the possible cooling (Assassin III air cooler), and the adjustment of the algorithm for cooling efficiency being more inclined towards the update.

Currently on 2007 bios:
Bios installed only after restoring all defaults, drivers updates, windows stable, no restore settings
Tested:
1- Stock defaults only
2- Tweaked as my performance preference
3- Only disable Armoury crate install and enabling Expo I
4- Only disable Armoury crate install and enabling Expo II
What happened in all these cases:
1- At the beginning and for 1 week, very stable system no issues.
2- USB crashes, AUDIO crashes, wifi card crashes, app crashes and BSOD daily multiple times a day. That was the worst I have ever had so far with this system. I had these issues before but not all together and not as frequent.
3- These issues mainly happen with browsers, 4K and currently random BSOD even when the system is idle
System:
ROG STRIX X670E-A GAMING WIFI
Ryzen 9 7900X3D
Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-96 1.40V 64GB (2x32GB) AMD EXPO
Gigabyte 4070ti Aorus Master
PSU Thermaltake GF3 1200W
Cooler: ARCTIC LIQUID FREEZER II - 360 ARGB

It is a good idea to contact the memory manufacturer and report the problem. If it is supported directly on your motherboard, then you can open a thread to request support.
